Militante féministe et anticolonialiste.
Yvette CARDEILHAC – EBION arrive en Martinique avec son époux Roger en 1968, forte de son expérience en Algérie et de son engagement politique.
Dès 1969, elle adhère à l’Union des Femmes de Martinique (UFM) où elle assure de nombreuses fonctions dont la présidence de 1993 à 1997.
En tant que membre de l’UFM :
-Yvette transforme le comité UFM de Sainte-Luce qu’elle a créé en 1970 en l’association « Femmes Solidaires de Sainte-Luce » dont elle est la présidente honoraire
-Elle a présidé de 2003 à 2012 l’association Rosannie Soleil créée par l’UFM pour l’hébergement des femmes en difficultés.

Yvette CARDEILHAC – EBION arrived in Martinique with her husband Roger in 1968, drawing on her experience in Algeria and her political commitment.
In 1969, she joined the Union des Femmes de Martinique (UFM), where she held a number of positions, including President from 1993 to 1997.
As a member of the UFM :
-Yvette transformed the Sainte-Luce UFM committee she set up in 1970 into the “Femmes Solidaires de Sainte-Luce” association, of which she is honorary president.
-From 2003 to 2012, she chaired the Rosannie Soleil association, set up by the UFM to provide accommodation for women in difficulty.
